Hello, I'm David 👋

I’m a product designer and a generalist at heart. Over the past decade, I’ve worked on a broad variety of projects — product design, visual design, animation, user research and web development. But my passion has always been in building experiences that are accessible, inclusive, and intuitive.

In 2008 I cofounded Kieffer Bros. an indie game studio. Primarily responsible as the studio’s designer and artist, I take pleasure in making things that are thought provoking and beautiful. I’ve designed and published over a dozen apps and my work has been featured by Apple, Amazon, Starbucks, Time, Wired, Touch Arcade, App Advice, Gamezebo, etc.

In 2015 I cofounded Appleton Coworking, a non-profit, community-driven coworking space.

More recently I’ve been designing and developing products for a diverse group of customers and clients, with a focus on improving design organization process.

I’m a believer in lifelong learning and am currently getting into Svelte (a javascript framework for building interfaces). I enjoy walks, board games/video games, and watching mystery shows on PBS with my wife.

I currently reside in Wisconsin, USA.
